...okay, so I got this all of 5 min ago.. ON MY CELL PHONE. the number that txted me is 30600002.

I tracked it down as fast as I could.. if it's a prank, then probably an sms server based in Greece (fruits of my tracking).

Do you guys think this is a prank? or not? I signed up to the site w/ legit info.. wtf.. I'm not even doing anything truly BH..

what do you guys think? should I be scared?

It is both spam AND a prank designed to get your info!

Interpol is an information sharing agency ONLY and has NO police powers!

Don't worry.

I don't think its anything to worry about, I mean honestly if you're under surveillance by the government (as I have been before, sadly), or even Interpol.. Wouldn't it be a shot in the foot to notify you the fact that they are doing so?

If feds were after you, they would have contact you physically with arrest warrents. They don't send test messages to the people they are monitoring. Use some common sense man.

They just break in the door and say hello that way!

I had some idiots hack into my ebay account and it was suspended! Luckily, the issue was resolved quickly......the hackers were smart enough to change my email account password, so that I would not get any information (now I know why I could not access that particular email)

Anyway, I never answered any phishing emails, so there must have been some type of virus program that sent back my logins......

To my way of thinking, the phishing emails and hacking accounts like ebay are not Black Hat......they are simply illegal, all of the way.

Do not answer anything like that message...ever!

I don't know ....

I have heard about the FBI contacting via text messages now. Unified messaging and sms has really evolved .. social networks are so popular now, I even heard that they have a myspace account and some Youtube videos....
