If the problem is from the advertiser then the money shall be cut down in the day of payment not instantly.
Are you doing Content locking or GPT maybe ? or you just run direct offers?

It wasn't OGAds fault it was something with the new IG update that made trouble when redirecting to App store. OGAds has fixed this and it will be implemented in a couple of minutes

Yeah it seems that leads will return to the usual so thanks to ogads for solving this problem quick but as we said it wasnt our fault,it wasnt shit traffic or low quantity traffic, something odd was going on...

A more comprehensive update from me guys... Ben - Owner of OGAds

First off, we are very sorry about the issue, we noticed that on Instagram / Facebook and Youtube they have updated their browser and basically if you use target "_blank" in your links to the locker it can cause issues.

Many publishers over the weekend had voiced their concerns about having abnormally low CVR. We have finally found the cause and implemented a fix. Here is what happened…

Instagram updated their android app on March 8th https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.instagram.android&hl=en



This is right when we started to hear complaints about low CVR... which was really confusing for us... as nothing had changed on our end. In this new Instagram update they updated their internal browser. This new browser update broke app links that redirect to the play store. This means that a user would click on the offer, register as a click in your stats, but never be redirected to the app because of Instagrams new browser. This only happens when an app link is opened in a new tab (EX: target=”_blank”). Once we found out that this was the specific problem (thanks Ama) we edited all of our mobile locker themes to not open offers in new tab. All mobile themes have been tested and all android app links now redirect properly on Instagrams new browser.

This certainly affected other traffic sources like Facebook who could have adopted a similar browser update, We are now detecting the instagram browser and only applying this fix to instagram browser. All other traffic will still use new tabs for offer clicks. If you see a specific app browser not redirecting app links properly please let us know and email me asap on [email protected]

If you use a pre lander that redirects to either another lander or even the content locker make sure you are NOT using a target="_blank" link or any type of link that opens in new window/tab. This will cause issues with Instagrams / youtube / facebook's new browser. WE REALLY HOPE THAT THEY FIX THIS... as its a huge bug on their end and must be costing advertisers thousands of dollars an hour....


We have reported the bug to their support forms, we've fixed our lockers, your CVR for android will start to get back to normal again.... we are VERY sorry about this, but it was totally beyond our control.....


ON ANOTHER NOTE........

We are getting a lot of hate from a user who has been trying to put us down on forums as much as he can... he managed to fraud us recently for a large sum of money...when we found him, he got really upset....
so all of the new user accounts used to post on this thread are probably him... WE DO NOT SHAVE AND NEVER WILL.... we take a small % for brokering the app install, thats how we make money... we have NEVER shaved ever and we stand by this since day one...

OGads is shaving for sure. My friends signups under my ref link and in stats i have 0 clicks and refs. I copied the link, and used my vps to visit the link - stats still show 0 clicks. Motherfuckers are cheating

I used to use them like a year ago and I didnt see any shaves. My volume wasn't that great though ! Not sure about now

Oh yea.. back last year I used to make $80 an hour and then random it would drop to like $40 until I would email and bitch about it... then it would jump back up to $60 or so. I think every network shaves a little but og has a serious issue with shaving a ton out of nowhere as if no one will notice.

Man, you cant please everyone, traffic depends on the time of the day and the amount of traffic you are sending, of course you will make different amounts each hour... what a stupid complaint to make... we do not shave and never have and we never will..

Hi Ben,

I'm about to restart with CPI and getting some traffic towards OGads. However, it seems that there are still complaints about shaving, just like in the past, and there is still the same cliche answer: "We never shave".

There is no network in the world that doesn't shave, however, there are limits to everything.

Hopefully I will have a good comeback with less and less negative experiences like in the past.

Nov ($38 With 456 click) and Oct( $17 with 499 Click)
Also I sent Almost same traffic in Dec and Sep But My PAYOUT is Different
in Dec $131 with 943 click and in Sep $46 with 702 Click.
And you still say Ogads Never Shave?
SO can you explain about this? what happened?

You did NOT send the same traffic, you sent traffic from other less paying geos and not even the same amount of clicks per GEO... please stop posting such comments because anyone reading this with CPI / PPI knowledge knows that traffic is not the same each month...

This is just ridiculous, how is this evidence of shaving? you guys are really starting to annoy me talking about OG ads shaving when there are so many factors which determine your conversions and the payout...
