My friend, you’ve been in the OFM business for a while now, but despite all your hard work, you’re still struggling to break even—let alone scale. You’ve tried everything you can think of, but the money just isn’t flowing.
Yes, hard work is important, but by itself, it won’t make you rich. To succeed, you need to master key skills and also avoid common mistakes.
Having worked in OFM for about a year—collaborating with both high-earning managers and struggling ones—I’ve identified four major mistakes that could be holding you back:
If you want to make real money, you have to think long-term. It typically takes 3–6 months to build consistent cash flow. Don’t expect to start today and have your bank account overflowing with six figures tomorrow.
Have a plan, stick to it, and understand that even if you don’t see major profits in the first two months, that’s completely normal—as long as you’re putting in the work.
If you’re serious about success, you need to master at least one traffic source—or partner with someone who does.
There are multiple platforms you can leverage for traffic, including:
Instagram
TikTok
Reddit
Dating apps
Facebook
X (formerly Twitter)
Each of these platforms has its own strategies for generating leads. If you don’t understand how they work, you’re wasting your time. Traffic is the backbone of OFM success.
If you launch without enough content:
Your model might struggle to stay consistent.
She may get lazy, fall sick, or be unavailable—leaving you with nothing to post.
Your early momentum could be wasted, killing your chances of long-term success.
Models who post consistently across platforms perform best. To help them stay on track:
Screen and approve their content before launch.
Ensure they always have a backlog of content.
Provide inspiration from trending reels of top-performing models.
The difference between a model making $2,000/month and one making $20,000/month often comes down to high-quality, engaging chat.
Whether you’re handling chats yourself or outsourcing, you need to master the art of chatting.
Understand your model’s personality and brand.
Engage clients as if they’re getting one-on-one attention.
Stroke their ego, build connections, and keep them coming back.
In my experience, 80%+ of a model’s revenue comes from chatting. This is not an area to overlook. I’ll be sharing a detailed thread on how to optimize OFM chatting later this week.

1. Short-Term Mindset
Just like any other business, online or offline, a short-term mindset is one of the biggest killers—and in OFM, it can ruin your chances of success even faster. If you want to make real money, you have to think long-term. 2. No Concrete Traffic Source
Sales are the lifeline of any business. No sales = no revenue = frustration. And where do sales come from? Traffic. If you’re serious about success, you need to master at least one traffic source—or partner with someone who does.

3. Launching Models Without Content Ready
No matter how you recruit models, never launch a model without at least 100–150 pieces of content (photos, videos, reels, and hot content). If you launch without enough content:
Models who post consistently across platforms perform best. To help them stay on track:
4. Poor Chatting Team
Chatting is where the money is.The difference between a model making $2,000/month and one making $20,000/month often comes down to high-quality, engaging chat.
