Offshore VPS, Google Algorithm, Deindex?

This is a farfeched theroy but im going to ask anyways. I have an offshore VPS server with about 3 sites hosted on it and after google did its algorithm update my sites have been hit hard. I went from being #1 for all my keywords to not even being found on google anymore. One of my sites came back and now its gone again and I am possitve its not a google dance since my site that reappeared had been missing since the beginning of 2011 and just reappeared in google index about 2 weeks ago before it vanished again. I did not do any spammy link building, no interlinking, no xrumer blast, nothing that google can consider to be blackhat but yet it seems as if google is taking down my sites one by one.

Now here what I don't understand, I have done the same link building strategy for my sites located in the US and none of them were affected by the google algorithm change. They are in the same position if not better positions with the same link building strategy I used on my offshore website.

My question is, do you think google is targeting offshore websites or could it be just be a random occurrence of events?

If you will rank in US - you must host in US !!! =)

My offshore site didn't get raped, but I did lost a lot of traffic. It has nothing to do with offshore.

This is definitely not the case. All my sites hosted in the US got shot down because they are all autoblogs, arcades, and video sites with duplicate content. Plus they have a bunch of blog comment backlinks.

One of my sites i got hosted on a vps in the Netherlands. When Google changed the algorithm my server got tore up. I look at my server load and it was spiking to 40. I was like wtf is going on. I contact my host and he had to move me to my own node to handle the 100,000 unique visitors and 450,000 page views I'm getting per day now.

The difference is i got unique content on my offshore site. Thats why Google send me extra 25k unique visitors a day. I made up all unique titles and descriptions. I'm in first spot on google for many top searched keywords now. The site only has around 700 backlinks too and they are mostly from my other sites that don't have any pagerank. This is a porn site so I'm not rich yet but i can definitely pay all my bills without any work.

Ok, so its probably just the content of the site itself. My sites are in the movie niche so I think that could have definatly played a factor. Ill do more experimenting to find the culprit.

google don't really give a sh*t if you provide illegal content , but they like must fight it

for example search for "watch free movies" 50% of ranks are offshore
