Seems like this one doesn't fit into any other forum category so it's going in the lounge :)

I am currently looking to obtain an offshore merchant account. One that will be leniant over chargebacks. Obviously none will be happy but getting an account within the UK/US is far more likely to simply get frozen after a couple of chargebacks similar to a PP account and I have heard that offshore accounts are the safest way to go about this.

If anyone knows of anywhere that I can signup or any of the processors that all of the trial offers that the merchants are using then please chime in :)

yes, I also would be interested in learning about programs and/or experiences with this...

I would search around on WF. Not much WH advertiser info here. If you can't find them, pm me and i can give you some good threads.

Cardpay is one of the few offshore merchant accounts. They have no set up fees. If someone here has already a merchant account or virtual terminal and is trusted, could I use your account instead.

I think you need to do some more research on 0ffs0r3 merchant accounts. There are a bunch of scammers out there. Depending on the nature of your business, you may consider setting up 0ffs0r3 business accompanied by an 0ffs0r3 bank account. Then apply for the 0ffs0r3 merchant account. Make sure it's not just a gateway. In most cases, the acquiring banks turn people down. So, it's better to use a 3rd party processing account that gives extra layer of privacy. If you are running a big operation, you can open a series of 3rd party processing account from same source and load balance :)
