hi,
i need a hosting and domain name that ignore dmca, i found flaunt7.com, they offer a offshore hosting, but for domain registrar they have only .com .net .org, can I have any problems? also i wanted to buy a domain from namecheap thats not tld (.cc, .io, etc.) and hosting from flaunt7, but i am not sure, my website is about file sharing.

and another question, can I have any problems if I have a NAS+openvpn for seeding torrents and distribute their via my website?

it is not about torrent tracker, only certain copyright files.

add: or will be better to use a file sharing providers like zippyshare, instead of Network Attached Storage to seed torrents, and put file directly ?

cyberbunker, they ignore everything. According to them they even ignored a team of special force, till they realized their door was damaged and they nearly sued the dutch police

I know it's an old post, but have you found a solution to this? I'm interested as well.

Domains .com and .net is from Verisign a Company from US that helped to seize and takedowns domains, .com and .net is controlled by Verisign.
The only who escapes is .ORG, but it can be shutdown. But is not easy like .com and .net. If you want to use Generic Top Level Domain, you should go with .org but isn't safe at all. But better than .com and .net

If you want to stay online avoid .com and .net, they can be seized or takedown if your get attention from Anti-Piracy Organizations.

You should buy domains from this providers:

Njal.la < From Peter Sunder Co-Founder of Piratebay, this is great one!
CheapPrivacy.ru
Flokinet.is
Bpw.sc
PRQ.se
LyraHosting (It says they sell from Chinese Providers)

Keep in mind, always try to pay with Anonymous Payment.

Don't be surprised, if the price is expensive, that is completely normal. And if you want something secure and safest that is the best you can go.

> I shouldn't trust in Flaunt7. IMO

You should use VPN, that have proved that doesn't keep logs!

EDIT: Sorry, Is too late! When I see the date from this old thread. Hope this help anyone!

Re-answering to this post two years later, shredding away two years worth of stupidity that I had. I'd say that going for countries that will not cares about piracy laws of another should work, providing that the country you hosting in is politically more powerful than the originating of piracy concerns.

:p Two years ago I was talking about using this Cyberbunker service that proclaimed they are police resilience, but last year they got burst by the Dutch police LOL.

Oh, this incident, yeah I heard about it. Did you use their service?

There's always some risk involved if you go with offshore hosts. And this is also the reason why we should use fake details, crypto payments, and at least a good VPN when connecting to them so even if they get busted, we have an additional layer of privacy. It won't help if someone is doing really illegal stuff, but for the average copyright infriction it should be enough.

Not really, I just viewed their site once in awhile since it's like a really interesting reading. I don't have anything illegal enough to justify their expensive payments so far, I keep my porn in mega.nz. LOL

They are not busted, that RAID from police was been investigated and very well planned to they know how to do that, they have design their entire bunker to understand where is the servers, where is the doors, where is..

The Datacenter, i think they have it on Netherlands and another in Germany.
