Offshore Dedicated for File Hosting + More questions

Hello,

Before some days start my File Sharing (file hosting) website. The site start growing very fast and the problems come here...I have for now 1.300 members and over 5TB files.
I run small server from Hetzner and the speed is terrible (download and upload also). I know its not possible to have 1Gbps to share it with 1.300 costumers and download / upload together the same time.
So, today start searching about a new Offshore Dedicated server with much higher price (500 EURO for sure). The only problem is:

I need:

  1. For sure over of 100 TB space
  2. For sure 10Gbps connection

I try and contact with a lot companies (include a lot from the forum) but they don't provide space like what i need.
So what can i do ? Do you have any idea, what service provider sites like rapidgator, uploady.io, filefactory and much more using?

  1. Also, do you believe 10Gbps will get solve my problem with slow / poor speed ? Now, sometimes members download with Mbps and the most times with Kbps.
  2. Maybe need to run multiple servers ?

Also, do you believe Cloudflare Pro membership should be ok ?

You have (at least) two options:
1. Offload content to CDN
2. Create Server cluster and aggregate network part

Edit: after second reading I would recommend you to make something custom split your solution to frontend served via Cloudflare pages and backend on your own server. Cloudflare workers can be used to manipulate media. Solution can be either headless Wordpress on BE (or anything you like) and statically generated FE that can be anything from react to next. The hell you can do it even with Strapi.

Because I do not know nothing about what you suggest me, can you help me a bit?

And also what about the price.

I forgot to tell that I am using the Yetishare script.

Please check my edited reply for more details. I can tell you how it can be done but you must hire some dev to make it happen if you are not developer.

OK done. Already post it. But 1 important question. How mutch can cost me a CDN per month for max 200TB space.

Also, what about the speed connection?

Speed connection won’t matter if you use CDN (1gbps will be ok). For the cost it will depend on several factors mainly on storage and traffic but I expect way less than with traditional hosting.

Did you read what I want? I don't see any option for 100TB+.
 
Based on the large storage and bandwidth needs you described, I would suggest looking into a cluster solution. This allows combining multiple servers together to act as one large system with pooled resources.

Some things to research:

Clustered file storage - This allows storing files across multiple storage nodes for capacity and performance. Look into distributed filesystems like GlusterFS, Ceph, or BeeGFS which can scale out to handle petabytes of data.

Geographic distribution - Deploying your cluster across different data centers or cloud regions allows being closer to your users for faster file transfers.
Horizontal scaling - Adding more nodes to the storage and application clusters allows linearly scaling bandwidth, compute, and storage as needed.
Data caching - Implementing a distributed caching layer like Redis or Memcached can optimize performance for frequently accessed files.
The benefit of a clustered architecture is the ability to start small and expand by adding more inexpensive commodity servers. With the right software, the whole system behaves as one cohesive high-performance system.

There are many solutions for file sharing sites
Multiple servers
Connect S3 services
Storage Box
But the most important thing is protection. Cloudflare may be very good, but it may not be appropriate at some point

You won't be getting a direct hosting plan that meets 100TB storage and 10GBPS speed. If you want to achieve it, you need to buy multiple servers and then configure them into one. Distribute files over multiple servers...

Something like this
Buy 100 servers which comes with 1TB Storage with 1 GBPS speed each ... (Just saying)

and then do things like load balancing, Clustered file storage etc stuff so that all those 100 servers will act as one big server with Big Capacity.

There are so many things that you would need to do so that you can provide good quality services to your users. like Make copies of your user's data over multiple servers so that you will have a guarantee that even if one server goes down, you still be assured that Users can safely access their files anytime possible. Also think of a situation where Server A is overloaded and cannot serve new users with good download speeds without sacrificing the current user's download speeds, In that case, you would need to divert to Server B which also has the same files as Server A (as a copy)...
You get the idea of what I'm saying.

For other options, you have Cloud Object Storage solutions like AWS, Google Cloud, Backblaze, etc...
 
In Google Cloud, AWS, and similar platforms, you can procure a service and also obtain a powerful server to use as a reverse proxy. From a technical perspective, your files may seem to reside on your server, but, in actuality, your server retrieves the files from cloud storage services. Consequently, your files are not vulnerable to misuse or similar issues, and storage problems are effectively resolved. While this concept makes sense in theory, the practical implementation may require further evaluation.
 
For "offshore" you can check https://terrahost.com/ (they host fmovies[dot]to content), their Norway servers(on the "storage section"), it have 144TO(8x18TB), 10GBPS port for 365$(but fair use, 3GBPS dedicated during peak hours cost 500$ more and 10G dedicated 1000$).
https://packetbunker.com (don't remember which site or hoster use it) offers 64TO storage and 10 GBPS unmetered for $1,319.00 monthly.
https://worldstream.com (host streamhub[dot]to content which is almost DMCA ignored) offers 60TO with 10GBPS and 100TB total bandwith per month(included) or 200TB(+115€/month) or 500TB(+288€/month) for 474€/mo ( € 0.001 per GB if you exceed the limit you choose).

Also if you want to have the hoster of file hoster, start a download a file here and right click the download and copy the download address on your browser, then paste it for example here https://iplookup.flagfox.net/ so it will give you the server hoster. Do it on multiple file hosters so you can have plenty of servers hosters to compare

Any reason why you need an "offshore" location in particular? Is there something in particular eg DMCA that you're trying to ignore, or will you be hosting content that is illegal within the US?
