I am going to get some business cards done and we all know how 90% of offline business dont know anything about internet marketing in general, SEO, PPC etc.

What do you call yourselves that makes it easy for them to understand what you do?
SEO consultants?
Website marketing consultants?
Website consultant?
SEO practitioner?

I want my business card to be clean and to the point.

Search Engine Marketing Consultant....if that doesn't work, Coke Dealer.

Why not just

Consultant, Online Marketing

or

Specialist, Online Marketing

or

Consultant, E-Marketing

You can also go with "Marketing and Promotion" or "Marketing and Advertising"

Online Media Consultant...Digital Media Specialist, Online Media Optimization?

If all else fails I would use this business card...pretty much explains what we do right?

Just don't put "Scrotum Fondler"...I've found that doesn't go over too well.

Biosclan
INTERNET NINJA
All up in that interweb...

Small Business Expert.

Or Spud's idea is good - don't mention the internet that scares most people

Im with Meathead on this, dont mention the internet, also gives you more options as well.

Marketing consultant or business consultant

how long of a title is too long? 2 words, 3 words, 4 words???

My titles (all 3 on one multi-purpose card) in order:

World Traveler
SEO Consultant
Internet Goddess

:) Makes people laugh - which makes people remember.

thats freakin great ^.

>>> For sure its tough to explain to someone exactly what seo is and how it can help... especially to businesses that have been around for a while and were sucked into the early inet hype of the late '80's early '90's. Or they probably know someone who was...

I would suggest using a USP as a title on ur business card then directing them to ur landing page where u show actual proof of what can be accomplished.

How about 'Easy Internet' as a firm name >> BUT do not lead with this on ur card go with a USP style headline ... sure its old school but it works.

good luck.
