I'm so happy right now! So we got an $8,000 refrigerated air conditioning system for our house and just for referring our family friend to the company who did ours, the guy wrote out a $200 commission check(after he installed a unit in the family friend's house)...wow easy money and it was unplanned lol!

I live in a desert/southwest U.S. city so it's perfect. Right now that it's June and with July still coming, it's perfect to get some leads for refrigerated air conditioning companies if you live in a pretty hot city. In my town, I just did some online research and the SEO for local companies is pretty mild. I believe this can have some good potential! Also, facebook ads that target people in your city. Make a campaign for a page called "I HATE summer in <name of city>!" and target the not so broke demographic(cuz it's 7k-8k systems(which can be paid in payments, they're pretty flexible). Perhaps the commissions in your city are higher(my city is known to be cheap skate bastards.) What do you guys think of this accidentally discovered method?

i think you got lucky to be honest, and also remember that the 200 dollar cheque he wrote out was pure profit and nothing else.

therefore unless you live in a tiny town, there will be other installers, who most likely can be found for cheaper.

if he is the only guy around, and his systems are in high demand, then yeh go for it. nothing to lose.

you can do it like a part time project, a mistake that allot of people make is once theyhave made a bit of money, they quit there jobs or quit their education which is stupid, so keep your head on, and delve into this like a hobby for now.

Thanks for the input moose. There's no way I'd quit a job because of a $200 check and what does the check being "pure profit and nothing else" supposed to mean? I realize that he's only paying that because he still makes a great profit but why should that stop anyone from getting those $200 checks? And yeah part time is what I meant. Other than that, thanks for your input dude.
