Untested offline hybrid method:
This is just more of a thought/idea which has crossed my mind after seeing the allapppress2 launch the other day. So let me get to it:
Internet usage via mobile devices as we all know has gone through the roof over the last few years and businesses using mobile optimised sites and apps has also increased.
In the old days of IM we'd contact local companies such as dentists, florists etc and offer them to build them a website and manage it for a fee. Now everything has moved mobile why not do a modern twist on it?
So here's the idea: instead of websites we offer them their own android and iOS app for their already created website and also offer to make their website mobile optimised (if it isn't already). We also charge a monthly maintenance fee to keep the app running smoothly.
Now you're thinking I don't have a clue how to make a mobile app - this is where allappress2 comes in; it allows you to create an app for a website with one click, so it basically converts their whole site into an app instantly. Link (http://sales.allapppress.com/) Cool right?
So now you have the what and how, you just need to get the businesses. This is where our good old friend Google comes in. You can target businesses by town or city and then just go through and contact them one by one. There are literally thousands of potential clients out there at your finger tips.
For pricing you can do something like:
One off app cost: $200
Monthly maintenance: $20
Now let's say you get 10 clients a month;
10 x 200 = $2000 one off payments
10 x 20 = $200 recurring.
You see the potential right?
I could go into a lot more detail on how to approach and close the deal with the local businesses but I just don't have the time at the moment. If I do I'll post up a few telephone and email scripts which you can use.
