[Offline METHOD] Step-by-Step Offer Web Design and Hosting Using my EPIC twist - $100k+

I am still trying to get how they included the hosting in the offer so that the people dont SLIP away... I mean. HOrror would be , that the deal is taken, and no follow up whatsoever is going to come... Can someone help me understand a bit?

They also state that the deals is webshoting on their deal page, at first place. and then groupon shows the fixed sum of 12 or 16 gbp ...
Where is the twist, so that they will have the customers be valuable ?

Genius idea and thank you for sharing, ardley216!

I had already been thinking about getting clients off of Groupon for some offline ventures (B2B angle), but the fact that this is actually using Groupon for a B2C perspective is just great! Furthermore, people shouldn't just limit themselves to offering Web Design and Hosting...Think about the number of people that Groupon has on their email list, think about what % of those people might be small business owners or work for a small business and know someone who could require specific service you could great an offer for... Use that to your advantage.

I just got off the phone with a Groupon Representative. I as told that "Web Design" services or anything related are not allowed. I asked why and she told me that years ago they had web design companies do it and they had numerous problems and a lot of customers complained. I told her that someone recently ran a campaign in United Kingdom. She told me that Web Design services are allowed in UK because they have not had any problems or customers complain. So basically Web Design Services are not allowed in USA. Just to make sure, I called my regional local Groupon rep and he told me the same thing: Web Design Services are not allowed in United States. I searched all over groupon in each city in United States and not one single Web Design Campaign. No wonder... Those of you who are in United Kingdom, YOU ARE LUCKY. I am going to try to create a campaign to the UK audience http://www.groupon.co.uk

Nowhere near 100% of the people that bought the groupon are going to sign on for the ongoing hosting fees on top of that. I'd be surprised if it was even 20-25%.

Great share daniel, there's many useful things I can apply to my current business. I'm already offering web design services with recurring payments; but launching my own reseller hosting service and using deal sites such as groupon might be an excellent way to drive more customers.

This is a great thread. I'm new to BHW. Is this kind of post a common occurrence around here? Because, if so, you will see me on a regular basis! Great post OP!

Yeah, one has to softly force them to take this webhosting... With some great opportunities connected and so...
And I would connect a high fee with installing the website on another host, this way, they would either pay this or that...
Anyway they come along with a very cheap website in the end.
Even when they pay one year without arguing.
So, its a numbers game in their eyes too, even when they research a bit.

I think this will work...

And in the US, why not piggy back on other huge sites like fiverr... ?

OK; but what with web design? :) You need to design and develop websites for all Groupon clients. Or they will be created with magic? :)

I see that the last reply was 9 2015, exept mine.
