Before I explain this method, I'm going to explain a few things: 1. The amount you make varies between locations. 2. Noob method for start up cash; there are definitely better methods out there that could make you more money with less work and time than this. This method is purely for noobs who seriously can't do any online stuff. Anyways, here is a general one-sentence summary of how this method works: You will buy cheap Chinese products from aliexpress/alibaba/etc, join a Facebook shop and trade group, and make $$$. A more in-depth guide: 1. Make a couple of Facebook profiles. Make sure they are the same gender you are and make sure to use a nonself shot avatar. Have them have a family name under your race (if you are Asian, use an Asian last name). Like this: Make it so people can't access your timeline/friends/photos. But keep public messaging on. 2. Join local shop and trade groups. Just type in "[city/town full name/abbrev.] shop (and trade)." Surely you'll find some local groups. If not, then this method may not work for you. Alternative would be Craigslisting, but I find Facebook better and easier. So for example, if you lived in Los Angeles: 3. Search through past posts and members. Check the demographics and whatnot. Where I live, the group is filled with swagfags, hypebeasts, junkies, etc. If your group has actual smart people, then selling might be a bit harder. If the group has a well seasoned IM'er, you're probably screwed. 4. Purchase some goods at aliexpress/alibaba. Try your best to cater to your audience. Usually iPhone cases/earphones/game controllers work best. iPhone cases and earphones are really cheap, they are around 1-3$ ea. and you can sell them for 10$+. I've sold earphones for at least $20 each and only bought them for about 3$ each. In our example, there was one group for vape pens, they usually go for $5 ea on aliexpress and you could sell it for at least $15. 5. SELL YOUR CRAP. Just post an image of a product (so if you bought 10 iphone cases, post all 10 up in one post), and say something like, "got a ton of these nice ass cases, selling ea for $20 obo" note: obo=or best offer When people comment on your post saying they wanna buy it or they give you an offer, MSG them (if you can't msg them, say, "blocked, msg me). Don't comment unless you setting another price or something. You guys will either arrange a meetup or you drop off. Personally, I don't let them pickup cause who knows what'll happen to my house if they find out the stuff I'm selling is shit. Also, write down the name of the person that bought from you each time you sell (next step). 6. Once you start getting bad reputation on Facebook (which shouldn't happen), just switch to another profile. Start by selling an item or two a week and get back on board, and don't sell the same items if it's unique! (such as a specific iPhone case; selling generic earphones/cases/chargers are fine) Remember the list you wrote down of all the buyers? If you get a person wanting to buy some of your stuff, tell him to msg you and say something like, "sorry too far" or "I'm out already." 7. $$$ ---- Once your sales start to slow down, try switching the items a bit. I've made at least $300 in profits from this, which should be enough to get anyone into IM. I stopped because it started to slow down REMINDER: This method is a VERY short term method for noobs who need some startup cash. I only did this method cause I thought it'd be a hassle to try and sell online.
