I was going through some old files and I uncovered about 100 old business cards of people I used to associate with from previous jobs. I'm trying to figure out a creative way to use these contacts to make money with affiliate marketing. For one, I know I can put them on an email list and email them offers, but I am trying to figure out other creative strategies to employ with this list. Most of the people on the business cards are small business owners, ie landscapers, car detailers, some lawyers, etc. I am open to hearing some ideas on how to make money with these people. Any and all suggestions is GREATLY appreciated!

Do up a cool post card for one of the offers and send it out and see what it does. I have done this a few times and get a ok response

I have the perfect solution for you. You should find a tax company or someone who will give you a nice cut from profits. Get a deal with one and recommend to your contacts. Tax season is near and they all have to file taxes. Dont bother with cpa or im products. It wont worth the effort for 1-2% conversion rate. Tax niche would bring you the highest respond rate especially if you have a good relationship with them.

You have a goldmine in your hands. Do not approach them with any business offer.
Just approach them with a "high we lost touch" kind of thing.
Find out their position. Evaluate it!
Sooner or later they will ask you what you're doing.
Just tell them "You help businesses increase their profits while reducing their
    marketing costs".

I'm not going to do an offline marketing course here. But you need to position them in the buying mode and position yourself as a business partner.
Forget the losers, Pick and choose your clients, you are the person that brings them business.

If they don't respond chose the businesses that will be most profitable to you.
As you already know them email is a good medium, personally if I knew them already I would call them up and arrange lunch.
In offline you're not a vendor you're a potential partner who will bring in more business than their best salesman ( over $1000 a month wages).
Arrange an appointment where you can ask questions.
You don't know how much your services will cost as you haven't analysed
    their situation.
    Don't sell a thing.
After your analysis, present them with a solution to the problems you have found
Value your services at 20% of increased profits for the client.
I charge £1500 set up fee £1000 retainer but due to demand
    I will be doubling that.

not worth alot to be honest, i mean yes hit them up offering services related to business but just test the 100 you have and scale it by going through the business directory... thats what i emant when i said 100 aint worth much. Grab a few thousand out of yellow pages ;)
