First, let me thank everyone who's read my posts over the last year and has had positive things to say. It's much appreciated.
This year, I want to do something a little different and how good this is will depend upon everyone who is interested in Offline Marketing aka Marketing Consulting. Specifically to local small business owners.
As you may have guessed, I'm very passionate about helping the local small business owner. Especially in the current economy. The more business owners I can help the more people will have jobs.
The best way to duplicate myself is to help those of you who are serious about starting your own offline consulting business. If I can help you get going then you can help local business owners possibly save their business.
So, what I want to know is exactly what is stopping you from getting out there and building your business? Is it lack of confidence? Is it lack of tools? Is it not knowing where to start? What services to offer? Exactly what is it that's preventing you from building your business?
I want details. Not "Who should my first client be?". I want questions like, "I live in ___ and my market niche is ____ and I'm wanting to provide them with ____ services and I want to know ____. I've tried this ___ and this ___. But what I'm thinking of is ____, what do you think?"
(Please don't waste my time and yours with SEO questions. Ask the "gurus" who are teaching that nonsense)
What am I going to do with these questions?
I'm going to place them into an audio seminar and answer your questions for you. I will get as detailed and precise as possible considering the time allowed per question. I have a friend of mine who's going to help me with this project. We'll release the RAW audio as we complete each 60 minute segment.
Keep in mind that I have my own consulting business and this is my busy time of the year. So, I ask you to please respect my time by giving some thought to your questions. The more I know about what you're asking the better my answer can be for you.
Yes, you can ask questions about a technique or idea that some "guru" told you about but didn't provide you with enough information to implement the concept. I'm more than happy to answer those questions.
I don't plan on doing more than three hours of this seminar. If you don't want to post your questions here, you can PM me your questions. Each person who contributes will be gifted with a complete set of the audios. And, I'm still considering if this will be a BHW exclusive or perhaps a JV for someone later. Just depends upon how well received this is and the quality of the questions asked.
If I JV, I'll probably be looking for people who will turn the audio into high quality articles, can clean up the RAW audio, who can market it, etc... Perhaps a group effort. Again, that depends upon how well this is received and the quality of the questions asked.
NOTE: If you're from outside the U.S. my answers won't be of much use to you. I'm honest enough to tell you that my system and way of marketing has only been tested and proven to work in the U.S. Your market will differ due to culture and value differences.
