Hardwork. Doesn't matter the investment capital, hardwork will make the differenceWhat idea do you have for an offline bussines in which the initial investment is under 5000$?
This. Find "gaps" and make use of themyou can take a trip to other cities and check for new startups or business that are not present in your city and seems a good idea
funds are really not a issue if are ready to give in what it takes
I like this vent cleaning idea, but I am worried about now that covid is demanding reduction in the amount of human interaction, not to mention companies having to stop certain home services due to it. How would you suggest a way to put people at ease to allow you to get in their home?Tons of businesses can be started under $5k. A few of the easiest/cheapest off the top of my head:
- Dryer vent cleaning. Around here $75-100/home and each one takes 10 minutes. In a dense suburb with good route planning 10-20 in a day is not unreasonable.
- Landscaping. Competitive and hard work, but very in demand. Assuming you already have a truck, a small mow-and-go setup can be found for a couple hundred bucks used. Even a beater truck could fit into that budget if you wanted to.
- Food. Especially if you have farmers markets in your area, these are a great start to get exposure and turn a profit from the beginning.
I'd argue the exact opposite. At least in the US, home services are in extremely high demand right now with people spending more time at home and doing more home improvement projects. Wear a mask & gloves, sanitize equipment after each house, offer temperature checks, and offer contactless payments. With winter coming up, add chimney cleaning to the list. Offer a "fire safety cleaning package".I like this vent cleaning idea, but I am worried about now that covid is demanding reduction in the amount of human interaction, not to mention companies having to stop certain home services due to it.
