UK, quite a rough area mainly low and middle class people, about 150 people per day visit the shops.

And yes I am internet savvy

I meant if "they" were internet savvy...

Since its just 150 per day...which is very less....you would have to sell something that makes you a recurring income. I can't think of anything off the top of my head... but i would suggest getting them signed up with something online...think of anything that can appeal to everyone...
Maybe even make a membership site that can cater to them...I know this seems very unconventional.... but you can really make some nice money converting just one out of 150 every day to become a member to something.

Yes that was an idea i had

I was brainstorming earlier and was thinking just 1 sale of $100 profit per day is about $35k per year

this surely can't be that hard but finding a way to reach this it harder than i thought

    there are tons of ideas.

    One of my dream ideas:

Have a couple booths that have computers with changing IPs. Have guests sign up to free offers, zip submits, and free trials.

Have them rack up points and win free stuff right there. You can have them submit like 7 offers for a profit of like ($140) and give them a $50 gift card or something.

You could also do free credit reports with a CPA sign up (you make like $10 a sign up) or even weight loss free trials to give out.

    Hi Lee,

Where in the uk is the market?

My family have been market traders for over 30 years mate i'm also from the uk, i spent most of my youth working on one market or another it was great fun.

The problem with these little indoor markets is they are normally small and tucked out of the way and get very little customers also the market trade has been going down hill for quite a few years now.

There's a reason they are offering you the stall for free probably because they can't get market traders to rent them, as they can't make any return on their investment?

Just look next time you go there and see how many empty stalls there are thats a good indication how good the market will be.

I do now this because i once had a lock up shop in an indoor market when i first left school selling womens clothes and god the trade was shit! and it wasn't the clothes because my family were doing 3 other markets at the same time and making good money.

If you are determind to do this i would look into some thing that people need on a regular basis, like fruit & veg or a food stall selling cheap biscits, chrisps, cakes, stuff like that and don't laugth because i now someone who makes a killing from doing just that.

If you got any questions just pm me.

    Paul

Well if you want to stick to physical items, nothing works better than fake ipods and iphones, people by them by the boatloads at indoor markets like those.

At the price you could get them at for a 1k bulk order, theres really no way you could ever lose your money and it would be almost impossible not to turn a profit.

One of the best sales methods when your profits are so big on an item is to give a free one randomly to every 20 buyers, just mix up the order in which the winner gets one. When people see them cheap, and know they have a 1 in 20 chance of getting it free when they pull out the cash to buy you can usually sell up to three times more product just by giving away a handful.

Really, not to ruin on your enthusiasm, but....150 potential customers is really nothing. That amount of foot traffic likely wouldn't justify many of the things you are considering. Just my two cents but your time, energy, and resources are likely better spent elsewhere.

Yes I understand this and I am not limited to physical things just would rahter offer something coming from myself such as physical things.

I understand the volume of traffic is low therefore i wanted to sell something with a high profit.

    Thanks
