I'm starting a business directory and I'm trying to figure out how to structure the categories and what's best from the SEO perspective.
It's gonna be a national directory (small country).
So you got the domain:
domain.com
I wanted to structure it like this:
domain.com/profession/city
but I was wondering if the 2 folders at the end will pass as one keyword
/profession/city or are they just treated as folders and don't form a keyword together?
Otherwise I'd have to do something like this:
professioncity.domain.com
or
domain.com/professioncity
or
city.domain.com/profession
But I want to have the local keyword in there somehow (profession+city) so I can appear on the first page of Google for it.
Can anyone help me out?
