Official Ubuntu/Linux Users of BHW

Xubuntu on my netbook, ubuntu on my desktop and windows on my second desktop for some gaming and programms tha dont work on linux (like Scrapebox, Photoshop etc).

Hmm.. Photoshop CS5 works in Ubuntu ;) Though the default skin in WINE makes it look old.

Arch Linux + Gentoo. Wget + cURL are very useful for quick content scraping/bots and such. Love Arch Linux because I can customize it so much, love gentoo because its secure and very very very reliable - have uptime of over 60+ days on my desktop now

I dumped Windows 7 early last year after a slue of attacks. Been running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS ever since with no serious issues.

The only exception is that I do have XP in Vbox 4.8 just for things that absolutely won't run in Wine.

I'm happy with this set-up.

I use two modified Ubuntu 11.04 systems on my computers(never stick with the original 11.04), along with Tails OS for it's proxies. One I modified myself is for my netbook while the rest run on my desktop through USB. Windows is still my main OS cause most of my programs won't run on Ubuntu, though I did find some substitutes, but this arrangement works out for me...for now.

I do all of my banking on a 13 year old Dell running Ubuntu. Damn thing is still fast enough to be usable and I don't have to worry about any keyboard logger. Thinking of putting in on a faster computer to do some real work.

ubuntu is not a good linux distribution, IMO. Its bloated, unstable, and a usability nightmare..., at least from the UNITY standpoint.

i have been a loyal user of Debian
i started on debian - woody (2002 - 2003)

FreeBSD+Compiz decorator and rdesktop when I need to do something in Win7.
