Office Work vs Manuel Work? Which do You Prefer?

Hi all, I'm just wondering what you guys prefer to do?

Do you ENJOY being at a computer all day or would you rather be out there in the weather landscaping a garden or painting a house or something?

Worked blue collar jobs for a decade, then 5+ years at office/home office. Sure, there are personal preferences, but let me tell you one thing - its better to wash your hands after you pee, than before that.

I do office work so I can afford to enjoy manual labor, instead of being dependent on it.

I like manual labor but have done enough of it to know it’s hard to sustain it, particularly if you do anything outside and the weather is adverse. One great thing about manual projects is seeing the fruits of your labor right as you finish, instead of waiting on Google...

For me it’s about a balance of both. Too much office work drives me crazy.

Depends on the weather

I enjoy being outside and if I had the choice all the time that is what I would be doing, but @Sherb hit the nail on the head. I don't always have the luxury of being able to do that so I have to do "business" stuff to afford it.

I prefer both. The office can motivate me pretty much. As a freelancer, I can work in a comfortable place.

I suppose it depends on what is your motivation. If you have a skill like self discipline, the better way for you is in your place. If you cant concentrate easily, probably you should choose the office.

I will always prefer office work, just think about it, you work with many amenities that you can't have working outside.

It is very hard to do manual labor for a long time at least when you get the older ages. It is more healthy for you no doubt
