Off the Chart Traffic - MALWARE Domain

I registered a bunch of domains earlier turns out that some of them were used from what I can assume is malware as they are requesting files that I would not consider normal.

Looks like they are requesting configuration files or looking for commands

Anyway the traffic is off the chart... I would estimate at the current rate of hits to our servers you are looking at around a few hundred thousand a day.. the IP addresses are from all over the world so far.

stumbled onto something here, but not entirely sure what..

Any Ideas?

botnet maybe?

Sounds like you just uncovered an HTTP botnet.

I don;t see how you can make money with botnet traffic. Maybe you could figure out how to get the botnet up and running again. Or sell the domains to a security company.
