RE: Off-shore Hosting (meaning off shore from the US)

I have been looking for hosting with good access times to US and EU yet off-shore from US.

    Things I have noticed:

    • The closer to the US the Better.
    • Canadian Hosts do not allow movie linking.
    • I have found no servers in Mexico - all hosting solutions advertised in Mexico have been mainly located in the US despite the name or address on the ad.
    • Central America: I found several servers in Panama but none respond accepting movie linking. One server in Cayman Islands but no movie linking. One in Costa Rica but too expensive (not sure about movie linking). Most advertised hosting solutions in countries of Central America have their servers located in the US.
    • South America: further south in South America have poor access times to the US and make access from EU just as good, better since it is also giving better access to EU.
    • Most access times to Australia are poor.
OH FYI: by access times I mean ping times using Website Pulse below.

    Code:
    [/URL][URL]http://www.websitepulse.com/[/URL]
I have been trying to keep ping times below 150 for Seattle US, below 200 for EU, and below 300 for AU. It is my understanding that the SERPs like better ping times.

If anyone knows of any good host with servers in Mexico or Central America that allow movie linking, please, please let me know (PM me or enter here in this thread).

    Tnx mch,
    DW
