So what is the % of keyword density that i should aim for in articles for my money site?

How would you go about measuring keyword density for free without counting the actual words?

My ideal keyword density is 1.5% for a phrase and 4% max for single words, so if your keyword is "blue widgets" you want that at about 1.5% but you don't want to use either "blue" or "widgets" more than 4%.

Try to keep main Keyword density between 1% to 3%

I mix all my articles with different keywords density. the range between 0.5% - 6%

Nowadays, keyword density is less important... It is acceptable as long as it is organically placed in the text.
You can exceed the limit if required, of course overdoing of everything is bad.
So place keywords wherever they are required.

best advice i can give you is to use a wp plugin designed specifically for that task. if you tell me youre not using wordpress, id have to ask 'why not?' free download of easy wpseo available here:
