Never heard of this till now so thanks for pointing it out. But I'm curious. What is it about $3.00 an hour -- an illegal pay rate for hired employees in the U.S. -- that bothers you?

Some people are use to less than 3.00 a day so I hate that they require me to pay 3.00/hr
i would have been happier if it were the same as it was earlier. Now odesk like elance is working on technology, however has become harder to work with, environment where people are less at ease and less trusting.
like it was at elance. why the new elance+odesk does not realize first comes basic system, conversions, environment, people and then technological improvements

@urmila, they have new executives now, and they are merging which just means there is chaos in the ranks. The reorg will put a strain on everyone, but you just have to ignore the gloom and doomsayers and soldier on. The only thing that worries me is they seem to really want to get rid of low end providers, but there's always that small percent of friendly fire where innocent providers get caught in the mix. I like that they are killing off the low rent providers, but they always seem to hit a few people who just had a quirk in their stats.
