I put up a job posting ad looking for a editor. I need anywhere from 1-60 articles if it pans out. Assuming I get enough business needed for 60 articles. Otherwise it could as low as 5. As a fixed price I just put up $30 as I figured that would get more views.
My question is. What if I hire an editor under the contract fixed price of $30 but I only needed them to edit 15 articles ($7.50 worth) by the time the allocated contract time is up? What happens to the remaining $22.50? Do I get it back or was it never withdrawn from my account in the first place? Or does oDesk hold it for me for future use?
My other question is, how can I pay an editor $1 to edit an article for me as a sample before I choose to hire them?
