hey guys!
I happen to observe Google Analytics of a competitive site - they have two Google Analytics sites registrations of the same domain and super different results.
One has over 300 real time visitors, the other has 600 real time visitors - reading totally different things! The domain is the the same - first I thought of transliteration and domain forwarding, but it wasn't the case. I saw that the tracking code is different as if it was 2 separate accounts but it is actually the same site with no forwarding.
How it is this possible? Can you help me out?

Is the code placed on same pages? Probably not.

Why would anyone want to use GA anyways? oO

In my experience, it completely sucks compared to statcounter or clicky.

warm regards,
neocortx

wow. i never thought of that - the code is somewhere else - but that will actually explain everything! thanks so very much!

Another possibility is that one account was setup with filters (Ie: only report traffic from US or referrals from mysite.com etc.)
Hence, it only report the traffic that matches those requirements.

yes, that could be it too. as i had a little time i went as fast as i can between those two GA accounts but i didn't see any filters or limitations but maybe i didn't look right.
now when i come to think it could be just like that - because the numbers didn't add up. thanks so much for the advices!
