Hello,

Working in digital marketing it can be challenging especially testing new landing pages, changing keywords on Google Adwords etc. This leads me to overthink everything, i end up sometimes after work obsessing about work, other issues such as the world and personal issues.

I am prone to worrying about everything more when i wake up in a morning, my brain can really through me off track from being focused. I also always check my emails regular through the day as i feel i will be missing out on something important, i am trying to cut this down without success.

Has anyone any tips or ideas to try and control my obsessive thoughts and trying to stop the urge to check my emails regular while working? Does anyone else go through this? Any help i would be thankful for.

That's not a problem ! it means that u love what u do

Anxiety is quite common among digital marketing/ IT people. You can improve your morning routine, by adding some physical workout, take professional help if you think are worrying a lot. Little investment can save a lot and improve your productivity.

Sounds easy huh?

Do it first.

One of the best callisthenics type of workout.

My best 2 tips i can give you is:

1. LISTS - use a program, use notepad, use A4, whatever! just write down everything.

Your thoughts, your ideas, your daily tasks, your daily goals, your long time goals, and that domain that you will buy when you have time.

Keep this list fresh and updated. google docs in combination with ASANA and the programs alike - its basically "Task Management" rather of just "Notes"

2. Weed - after work (or during if that's your thing) it will make you relax and not be obsessed with thoughts, or at least they should be more fruitful and less "volatile"

Best workout for you will be depends on how active is your lifestyle. Follow a regime than few exercise. If you can follow something like 7 minute workout, or some yoga, it will have huge impact on your productivity. Don't get obsessed over exercise, pick one and follow religiously for at-least 100 days. These ~10 minutes per day will become one of your best investment in your life.

All i can say is that i noticed that my smm marketing journey its givin me anxiety. I am confident that i could make lot of money if i put effort in it but its really a side project because the above reason.
Sticking more to youtube video and other ideas for now...when i work.
The point is, i think is not too much on you, that niche gives some "anxiety" or stress
