Been experimenting with multiple indexing methods lately and noticed coverage differences worth sharing.
Google tends to pick up fresh domains and content quickly but also de-indexes faster if signals drop. Bing is slower but sticks with indexed pages for months, even after traffic dips.
This suggests Bing’s crawler relies more on internal linking and sitemap accuracy, while Google’s relies more on engagement and freshness.
Anyone here doing tests with alternate crawling or comparing long-term index retention? Would be interesting to see how each responds to content updates.
