In the light of DeepSeek emergence, Nvidia recorded the largest market cap drop in history in the markets breaking the previous record also held by Nvidia.

Nasdaq also dropped more than 3%, a drop like this has not been seen in a very long time.

Definitely an overreaction in the markets as shown by today where lots of assets are being offered for highly discounted prices and Nasdaq is up again.

I see this as yet another positive tailwind for BTC as USA AI dominance and billions upon billions of USD investments in AI is being questioned to say the least.

So a lot of new money will be flowing into crypto again as a way of investors diversifying away from the US tech sector.

Actually kind of crazy since Nvidia does far more than just AI, nothing in the grand scheme of things. Lots of social media fud and overreaction contributed after all.
 
Everything that goes up gets a correction.
 
The relationship between AI developments and cryptocurrency markets is complex and not necessarily correlated
 
Still think it's a bubble people are living in. The valuations are ridiculous and sooner or later it will come down.
1 Trillion has been wiped in a day in total and i think that's just the beginning.

Def and the fun part is that this was created by only 1 single small startup from China. Once they start releasing better quality chips and no longer need the western tech it going to be even worse.

The timing seems suspicious......as soon as Trump is sworn in, this happens.

Now call me skeptical.....but is this being done on purpose?

Yeah i did, as soon as i so it drop, nvidia will bounce back for sure.

i missed out on the trump crypto thing, so thought i'd not miss something like this.
