Do you guys think 75 private proxies is good enough for scrapebox? Its what im currently using and I was just wondering if anyone used more or less.

It depends on your setup and goals. For most people 10 private proxies to post with is good enough. If you have a server or VPS (or an awesome internet connection and computer at home) then you can use more proxies.
Also if you choose to scrape with private proxies more is obviously better.

Ah ok, I was thinking about switching from my VPS to a dedi with a better processor and a 1gb/s uplink. How much better can you run SB at 1gb/s vs 100mbps?

75 private ones is more than enough. Unless you are providing scrapebox blast services and you need to do blast 200k+ URLs daily I'd say 10 private dedicated are enough.
I'm using 15 private at the moment but only for posting. Scraping with 200+ scraped proxies.
With 75 proxies you can also post with a ton of connections very fast, depending on your internet connection.

I also want to know...
You can actually scrape all day long using 10 proxies, as you keep the connections to 10-20% of the number of proxies.

But with 10 proxies you cannot harvest enough URLs, even if you run it for 24/7/365.
You shouldn't use Scrapebox just for blog commenting. You should also scrape fresh and alive article directories (for Ultimate Demon, Senuke or AMR), bookmarking sites (Bookmarking Demon or Ultimate Demon), wiki sites (Extreme Wiki Poster or Ultimate Demon), and optionally forums.
