Number of Keywords:

I was wondering -

Is it better to have a few (like10-15) keywords with a higher CPC bid in Adcenter, OR is it better to have a bunch (100+) keywords with a lower CPC?

Basically - Adcenter is coming NO WHERE NEAR Adwords did, and was wondering if i just added more keywords, if I would get more traffic (but I cant afford each of my 100 keywords to be at $1 a piece) so I would have to lower it.

Anyone ever tried this?

Basically - If I target MORE keywords with a lower CPC, will I get more traffic then I would with a few high CPC Keywords.

It's possible, but of course depends on the two CPC value both keywords you are comparing...
