NullWorks.org | Forum or Blog?

I have the above domain and some hostgator hosting. Would it be better for a beginner to create a forum and slowly monetize or a blog? Seems like forums would be easier because it is self writing content after you build a stable user base.

Hard to say, NullWorks sounds like it could make a pretty cool programming and development forum.

Only hurdle I have at the moment for the forum is building a stable user base, but I did manage to build a small forum when I was like 13, so surely I could do it now?

Yeah man, forums aren't too hard. Lots of networking involved though.
