Nulled theme question

Hello All!

In the past I always avoided using nulled theme for a bad experience I had one time: I got a site up and running and suddenly it was hacked. I was so mad because all my effort went to waste and it was just a pain in the ass to get everything running again.

In the past weeks I been researching more about elementor (I currently use divi but I want to stop using it because I feel it's like a mac in some ways, very restrictive and overall not that flexible) and so far I'm very pleased and still learning more about elementor. However, I did get the nulled pro version from here to just test it and such.

The problem now is that I use bluehost and I do have on client website on the same account I'm using to host my test website with the nulled theme.

The question is: Would having a nulled theme in the test website allow any attacker to hack into my main site? I don't know if bluehost shares the cpanel data? I'm pretty sure it does since I manage all my sites from one single account in blue host.


I would hate to redo all the work I done on my client website because of a nulled theme on another site.

Yes, they can gain access over evreything. SO i rather not risk it if i were you.

I think it is not possible if you use different hostings for each of your sites linked to your account.
One way hacker can get your data is read your wp-config.php or get your login credentials from WP database.
But I highly doubt anyone would try to log in with these into your Bluehost cPanel.
A lot of these "hacks" are just automated tools crawling the Internet and searching for vulnerable sites.

You can try scanning the nulled plugins with some security plugins or just check the plugin source code for some malicious code.

Theres your answer, why ask us if you have been through it, its all about risk to you then do it to save a couple bucks or do it legit, dont rip a theme and pay the coder for his work.

All actions have consequences, you just decide if they are good or bad.
