You need accounts with good karma to build a good community on reddit, plus target small niche and those retards are not easy to handle.

You will need plenty of accounts to promote the new subreddit, one good method is just finding related subreddits, getting their most popular posts, reposting on your subreddit and then crossposting back to the original sub, this will bring plenty of subscribers.

Yes agree. Good, relevant content is key here. You can easily build karma in memes and animals subreddits by posting funny and amusing videos. Karma gives you a head start
