Now the Adobe has taken over SEMrush, is it cooked?

Yeah, Adobe buying SEMrush made it pricey. There are good alternatives like Ahrefs, Mangools, and Surfer SEO that are more affordable and reliable. :)

Yeah, since Adobe stepped in, it feels like pricing might only go up from here.

There are still solid options like Ahrefs, Mangools, and even SE Ranking or Ubersuggest that are more budget-friendly and reliable for everyday SEO work.

adobe paid something like $1.3b for figma and still hasn't figured out what to do with it, so yeah, trust issues are valid. switched my saas clients over to ahrefs about 8 months ago, paying $399/mo for the teams plan vs what semrush was costing us at $499 for features we barely touched. keyword gap and site audit are honestly close enough that nobody on the team noticed the difference.
