Possible its just a sitewide link from a really big site? Having a sitewide from a huge ecommerce site or something like that can really mess with your anchor diversity in linkchecker charts but not in G's eyes.

Yeah I have 2 online games sites that run a ad to one of my sites, seems weird to see 7000 links all from 1 site!

Amazingly its an KW that is in the domain name.

If it is a branded keyword, totally possible. Can you confirm if it is the name of a company or brand?
