FreedomToSave is a daily freebie site posting amazing deals for its audience. We post sweepstakes, deals, freebies, giveaways, coupons, and news about upcoming technology. The website is running on the Blogger blogging platform, and we have multiple positions to fill.
Compensation
Compensation for most roles are generally volunteer and unpaid. Paid positions are available depending on work retention and quality, stay longer and get compensated. Some roles such as social, SEO marketing or graphic design will be paid.
Depending on the role you get into and how long you remain a staff member, you will be allowed to post referral/affiliate links as a form of payment. In other words you will be posting deals/freebies with affiliate or referral link.
Regular volunteers who post daily for more than 6 months will be allowed to have their own ad displayed on the front page of the site.
Roles:
Freebie Poster/Author
Role: Search the world wide web to find current and up to date freebies. Save images of promotion, repost the freebie offer to our platform while reuploading the images, rephrasing the title and contents. You must make sure the freebie was not posted by a previous poster during the day of which you are posting. Based on how active you are, you may be asked to post some freebies on popular forums. You also must have good language skills, so much so that you can rewrite or create your own content of a certain freebie. Expect to repost at least 5+ freebies per day if you wish to be compensated in the future.
Graphics Team
Role: Design logos for the site, banners and cool images that can be posted on the site by our freebie posters. Design templates for freebie posters to use when they post on forums.
Senior Web Developer (Blogger Knowledge)
Role: You will be working with the dev team in creating mods for our existing wordpress plugin. You will be working on adding features to the site as well as updating and fixing the current design. Examples of current mod work already completed are: expired posts(expired posts are dimmed via opacity and marked with an expired stamp. backend: admins can hit expire button and posts will automatically expire); bump(backend feature which enables an editor to press a button to 'bump' or 'renew' a post.) Compensation: Generally volunteer work with benefits of free advertisement placements and affiliate offer freebie postings.
SEO Specialist
Role: You will analyze and optimize the website for the latest SEO trends to get our website to rank high in the search engines for daily freebies targeting the US consumer group. You will perform mainly whitehat methods of promotion to increase our organic search traffic to our website. Compensation depends on results, be able to provide reports and analysis. We are not looking for fast ranking, we are looking for quality ranking. We understand that the niche is very hard to penetrate and that is why we are looking for the best of the best out there.
