Notify users when someone they follow makes a post or reply to a thread.

I just want to add to a suggestion recently made by @INCC that I agree with this suggestion because the reason I follow someone is to get notified when they make a post or comment on a thread, but I never get notified. So I think it will be a good idea to send notification just like how it's sent when someone starts a thread in a sub that you follow. Maybe an option to get notified when that user starts a thread or reply to a thread.

Unfortunately, this is not a built in feature to the forum software. So it's something that will need to be developed.

I've looked and there are a few requests for this to be added natively into the software, however, I don't think that will happen anytime soon since the last time it was brought up was 2022. We will discuss it, however, I think for the time being the better use of the feature is to use it to easily find back the individuals to see if they've posted something. I know, a little fiddly but it's the best I've got at the moment.
