Nothing works for me - I am desperate

My niche is beer, and I started 12 months ago.
Here are my pathetic stats:

- aged domain, 170 articles - total traffic from Google is 800 pv per month
- Pinterest - consistently pinning 10 pins per day, text overlay, link to an article on the blog, descriptions, call to action, different links - I get 1 visitor per day
- Facebook Page - 15k followers - I post 4 times a day, link posts and link in posts, also have a subscriber button - I get 3 visitors per day
- Facebook Group - 3k members - I post 10 times a day, virtually no traffic to my blog
- I live in a country that does not allow Facebook Monetizat Ion
- Twitter - stuck at 1k followers - nobody clicks on links
- Instagram - 4k followers - nobody clicks
- Newsletter - 1k subscribers, 27% open rate, 3% CTR, on beehiiv, I make $15 per month via boosts and ads; my newsletter popup with lead magnet has a success rate of 0.001%, I get 1 subscriber per week, at the most
- I have my own Amazon Storefront, I make about $2 per month
- website is monetized with ezoic - my epmv is $2, even with 95% traffic from the United States; ezoic support told me that they can't find advertisers in the alcohol niche.


What the hell should I do? I am not giving up.

The answer you're looking for is the term "Focus."

Instead of having many many different sources, focus on one, learn it, scale it then go for the other one.
Which one you choose is based on your past experience and your passion.

Furthermore, monetizing some niches might be different. So you need to do a little bit of competitor analysis and see how other people monetize similar niches to you.

Seems you are a bit overwhelmed and your thoughts a bit all over the place.

I think you waste your time on Pinterest with the beer niche.

you need a tracking software to see what is working and what is not, if you not using such a tool is like going in blind.

Lets not cope here, if his idea is non viable it's best he salvages the best parts of it and reworks his strategy around what works, or he ends it sooner rather than later and tries something new.
A large chunk of new businesses are unsuccessful, it takes a few tries to fit into the right niche

Well, he can monetize it by selling the whole package. But until then, he needs to keep on working. He just needs to be consistent.

From reading what you have put, I would not say you have made a total loss. You are still earning be it low, thanks also for sharing by the way it helps other people learn. One thing I noticed is that you have not mentioned video, is there any particular reason you are not making video's could it be another way to appeal to an audience? I am also thinking are you spreading yourself thin across all SM platforms maybe its better to concentrate more on the platforms which are working and giving you some results no matter how low they are??

You're doing great! You're on the right track, and it's clear you know what you're doing. Still, I think a little bit of organization, especially around keywords, could take things to the next level.

Here’s what I would do if I were you.

Since you’ve already got a solid foundation, it’s important to get in on the type of keywords you want to target and how to structure your articles around that.

First, grab a SemRush account from the Misc section here on BHW. You can find one for $6 to $8, and even if it only lasts you two weeks, that’s all you’ll need.

Spend about 5 - 10 days creating a strategy that revolves around the keywords and content you plan to publish over the next 6 months to a year. But before that, do a full audit of your site. See which keywords are already performing well and which ones aren’t.

Then, come up with a list of around 100 solid keywords that you can base articles on. Schedule these out, and try to aim for 1 article every 3 days. Just make sure you’re not overstuffing keywords. Use the main keyword in the first paragraph, and rely on tools like RankMath to help you optimize things smoothly.

Try to add simple, minimalistic images every 200 - 250 words. Add FAQs (super easy to do in WordPress), write solid meta descriptions, and keep your titles concise.

Another idea is to start a YouTube channel. You can easily create hundreds of quick videos using Canva and schedule them out for the year. Since your niche is beer, you can make some fun and interesting shorts, things that will grab attention and make people want to click.

Focus on engaging your community as much as you can. Be present, get that interaction going, and even consider doing some small, real giveaways. It’s a tried-and-true method that really boosts engagement across social platforms.

You might want to step back from Pinterest though, it’s probably not the best fit for your niche. Instead, share those YouTube clips across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram (TikTok) to maximize your reach.

Consistency is key. If you can, invest in some quality backlinks, or try reaching out to people in your niche for link exchanges, it’s a great way to grow.

There’s more to it, but in a nutshell, focus on keywords with a difficulty of up to 25 KD and mostly around 1k searches. Of course, if you find some with 10k+ searches and low KD, don’t shy away from them either.

Try some different works or be YouTube, TikTok influencer.

The problem is all about location. In other words, Pinterest is completely useless outside the US. But other social networks are not efficient either. My advice to you is, if your traffic is targeting the US, open new accounts using a proxy and share that way. Unfortunately, all social networks except Youtube prioritize US traffic.

Thanks guys for your replies! My plan is to continue working on the project! Here are some replies to some of your suggestions:
- I am not selling it - even if I would, who would buy it? It doesn't make money
- traffic from Google is not going to happen, IT was hit by the August core update, traffic went from 3k pv per month to 200 pv per month
- I will continue to focus on social media and the newsletter

170 articles in one year? you can do better

170 articles a year Maybe you can try a different idea or platform

thats the best advice

with alcohol you will find tons of limitations online, as its heavily censored/blocked

you know how to get people to your site to buy your stuff

move to another niche and rinse and repeat.

the same tactics WORK, you have proof of them WORKING
You just need to move to a niche that is more profitable or open
