So, I’m not the type to ramble on about what’s good for your life or tell you how to live your’s but if you’ve still got family, a mother, a father, a sister or a brother, be sure to let them know that you love them as life is way too short and in our field, we may get to be way too focused on our “goals” to let our loved ones know just how much we appreciate them. Both my parents are of old age and I constantly let them know just how much I appreciate them even thought I hope I’d started sooner. Family doesn’t last forever and nothing loves you as much as your family.
Just a couple years back, I saw all of them as a burden on my livelihood and lifestyle but as i grew older, i realized they were the best thing to ever have happened to me. Granted, some parents might not be up to the mark but if you see it in yourself to forgive them and love them, you probably should. You shouldn’t have to need a special day to make them feel special.
