Not so new to clickbank, just getting back at it

Hi everyone, I am fairly new here (been crawling through threads mostly). So let's get to why I'm posting this thread. I just started with clickbank again after almost 8 years (yeah back in 2008 things were much easier). I made quite a few sales back then with only article marketing.
I wanted to try again since I recently lost my job and have got nothing much else to do. Got to mention that I am almost broke so, can't invest much in PPC.

What I've done so far was setting up a blog (on blogger) where I am posting daily. Then share the fresh posts on facebook, twitter, delicious etc. I am not looking for fast results because I know it takes time but I want to hear from those who use techniques like this if it still works now? I know it's useless to be posting to Ezinearticles now... And I think yahoo answers doesn't work that much either.

I've chosen a health related product, wart removal. Maybe someone can guide me what might be the best way to go to make that first sale?

I'd like to add that most of my articles are already indexed and getting some traffic from facebook and twitter so far

So you are writing articles and posting on random facebook groups? You said you are getting traffic from twitter. Do you have a twitter account with followers? And you can buy a domain from godaddy for your blog.

No not random facebook groups, adding individuals who've posted on groups searching for cure. Also created a Facebook page and posting links to the articles. I guess this will grow slowly (15 fans so far) Not many followers on twitter but I am tagging with the right keywords
