Not showing in map pack anymore?

I’ve been ranking in google map pack for awhile now, and since a week ago I got removed.

I still rank organically #1, which I feel doesn’t even matter these days because of the flooding of AdWords, local service ads, etc.

Anyway, Anyone have any idea?

My listing has 80+ reviews, 200+ pictures, and fully updated.

I can’t see the new BERT update having much to do with it

I had my client at the top of the map pack for at least a year, now Google appears to be cycling them off, then back on again in a couple of days.

I'm not at all sure if this is significant, but: when I make a new post to my client's Google Business page, their map listing appears
back at the top of the map pack, in 2 - 3 days. However, I don't know if it would have returned anyway.

I posted an offer -- but I would think any kind of new post would work. But like I said, this may not be having any effect.

Worth a try; since I haven't been showing, my bookings have dropped significantly

My client is back at the top of the map pack (as of yesterday) but if the past few months are any indication,
they will be taken down again in a few days.

I'm curious, if you don't mind me asking, what service does your client do (or you can PM me if you don't want to list it)

The past 2 days, I was in and out of the map pack.

Now, it's businesses with little reviews and poor websites. Furthermore, two of them are with the same exact match keyword with the same website.

I'd rather not disclose the name of the client, even privately.

I will say that they, like you, are cycling on and off the map pack.
Today they're on the desktop map pack -- but off the mobile one (at least on iPhones).

Also the replacement listings are. as in your case, low quality & with very few (even only one) reviews.

In my case, it may be because the client is including an offer in the headline -- which is against Google's policy (but is critical for competing with the other map listings -- so we'll keep it there for the time being).
