-Not receiving Twitter phone verification call

Hi,
Is anyone experiencing the same?

I'm note receiving the twitter automated call for unocking my account.

The phone number is correct, I used to receive those call at the same number without any issue.

If I try to change the password I receive the SMS code without problems.

Wait 1-2 mintues or try click on call me 3 times.
 
Tried multiple times, no luck lets see what does support says
 
I had the same issue, if you are on PC. Try it again on your mobile phone, and vice versa if you are on mobile.
 
No luck from mobile.twitter.com nor from the twitter app, still waiting for support reply.
 
Twitter unlocked the account but got locked again, and again I don't receive any automated calls to that number, If I try to change the password I receive the SMS alright, so it's the call feature is not working, and it's for all the accounts tied to that number.:(
 
Maybe they have freezed your number to that account .

Yea, it's the number and not account specific. I experienced this too before rarely with a few numbers. They can receive SMS all right, but no calls. What you can do - after you unlocked the accs again - is simply remove the number and use a different one.

Was that a new number or a number that used to work in the past and suddendly stop working?

New numbers. I usually don't have any issues with numbers. It happens very rarely that a phone number can't receive calls, it happens even more rarely that a phone number can't receive neither calls, nor SMS. Maybe 2% out of all the numbers i use, are like that.

It also happens sometimes, that few incoming calls are blank. The number seems to receive the calls, the timer starts, but there's no audio. It's weird, but this always solves itself with time and on the next try, it magically works again.

Even normal, every day users complain to Twitter about them not receiving the calls or the SMS.
Nothing is wrong with the accs, it's either the providers acting up or Twitter purposely blocks/ghosts the verification attempts on some numbers for whatever reason.

Are those real SIMs though or an online service with virtual numbers?

If you manage to unlock the accs, switch out or simply remove the number.
 
It's a real SIM card whih used to work in te past, I've tried to contact support but not hoping to get it fixed I'd be better off switching number I guess.

Did you manage to sort this problem out in the end? I am facing the exact same thing, tried with two separate real phone numbers and no luck with either, the call just simply does not arrive. I had used one of the numbers to unblock an account before and had worked, but can't remember if at the time I received a phone call or SMS. The thing is you can use a number to link up and unblock up to 10 accounts.
 
Having this exact same issue with pretty much all our accounts again. Its a real pain!

What service do you use for call verification
 
Hi, Did you solve the problem? From yesterday until now, I am facing the same problem.
Many of my accounts all can't receive "Twitter phone verification call", So they can not be unlocked until now.
 
i used to do google voice but they're blacklisted now. check out google play store and download apps like burner (burner is blacklisted dont try that one). after 15 minutes playing around the play store i found a free app that gave me a phone number which let me twitter pva.

Am experiencing same issue now 4 days I really feel giving up but I don't want to lose my account I have managed for 6 years any one with an idea please help
 
I had the same issue last night with a verification email. It would not arrive no matter what I did.
