Not receiving IG confirmation email

For some reason, I have made a few IG accounts and it seems like I have not received any confirmation email from IG, I went onto edit profile and entered the email and it said that they've sent confirmation email. However, I have checked the spam folders and still nothing. It has been a few hours.
I am using gmail.

are you sure you did spell it right there ......
and there is a button on the registration page where you confirm the email to sent it again .... so check it and resent it.

IG doesn't like some email providers, it's been mentioned on here before that some Russian emails (for example) get blocked...
