Not quiet sure where to go from here. (PPD website)

Hello, this will be my first post ever on BHW even though i have been lurking for some time now.

Recently, about a month ago i created my very first website and dedicated it to my new found interest, PPD. It's a wordpress blog with a stolen theme but it really looks like a regular website, mostly due to heavy customization on my part.

I have Yoast SEO plugin and i'm using it frequently to make sure my on-page SEO is on par with the standards.
I must've built tier 1 backlinks on all the top PR10 pages, manually, for my main keyword.. it has high competition due to being the PPD genres favorite keyword, i assume.

Recently i bought a fiverr gig that promised me to blast a backlink pyramid and i'm not really seeing the results until now, according to ahrefs my site has about 800 active backlinks right now. My main competitor (#1 for the keyword i'm fighting to get) has about 3k. I guess a lot of my keywords isnt indexed yet, so i'm not too worried about that.

Anyway, i'm pretty much only doing small changes to my website to make it look better every single day when i'm sure there is tons of things i could do to improve the SERP for my keyword.. question is, what? Should i do some kind of pyramid myself? Make a wiki about my tier 1 keyword and then fire away tons of blogcomments at the wiki or something?

I recently started ranking specific keywords related to my #1 keyword and those jumped into the top 100 pretty quick (my main keyword isnt visible through the program i'm using.. its called Rank Tracker, im sure you know about it).

Anyway, guess i just need some motivation. Any ideas what i should do next?

No, no churn and burn project.

You need to work on good quality backlinks for which you have to do some reading.

In my opinion, you need to learn how to make high quality backlinks. On the other hand, this is not something that you will be able to master immediately. You need to go over forums to ask for pieces of advice and you really need to invest your time to learn this.

I got no problem investing time, i'm learning it bits by bits every single day. Funny note, i actually bought a gig from you a few weeks ago.
