Not indexed after 3 months?

My website contains all unique articles/posts, wordpress based blog. I even set it up on google webmaster tools and uploaded the sitemap etc. I did all of that. I used a ping service to ping it.

I rank 2 on yahoo and 6 on bing for my main product keyword... yet google I am still not indexed. I send a request for the reconsideration of site through the webmaster tools in July and nothing.

Any ideas to help me out??

I made my first sale yesterday and commission was $142! I want to get google traffic... this was just with bing and yahoo traffic. I have built some backlinks to the site too, and they show up...

Whats the deal? Im losing out on lots of potential earnings.

Sounds like this one may be burned in G.
 
Yes, I added 3 new posts over the last month.
 
Was this a new domain or did you purchase it? If it is a purchased domain it may well have been banned by Google before you got it.

Are the Google bots visiting your site at all? And of course are you sure you are not indexed at all or just not ranking?
 
Run ping studio with your site url and bang , it will be indexed in 24 hours maximum!

New domain... I dont know if google bots are visting it, how can I check? I use analytics and webmaster tools if that helps.

Not indexed at all...

But yahoo and bing give me great rankings :)
 
Is it a wordpress site?
Do you have it set to be visible by search engines?
 
It is wordpress... yahoo and bing are finding it just fine, so I guess it is set to be visible by search engines.
 
Have you checked if your site is in a bad neighborhood?

I'm with oxonbeef, check your robots.txt Might be that you're only excluding googlebot even if we all know it stills crawls and hides their true identity http://searchenginewatch.com/3641313

Might be as suggested above that it was banned by Google before you purchased the site..

I would check the "way back time machine" to see if it was listed in Google before.

I checked, its set to allow search engines to find it.

Robots.txt is fine too, checked it.

Way back time machine shows it registered in 2008 and nothing else.

How can I check if its in a "bad neighborhood"? Can a site be perm banned? How would you know?
 
I am in an almost identical situation as lizardtime except that my website has NOT been indexed by G00gle in 7 months. The Word Press site was indexed by Bing and Yahoo after less than 2 weeks. At the moment its #1 on Bing and #12 on Yahoo.

The domain was new when I bought it , has over 20 pages and posts, all 100% unique articles written by me.

Its set to allow search engines to find it.

The Robots.txt looks OK. It shows:
User-agent: *
Disallow:

I've used dozens of Angelas and other backlinks. I've basically given up. I don't know what else to look for except to ask for help.

Try to get link from homepage of busy site and has low pagerank such as classified website. I always do this for my new site to get indexed fast. My new site get indexed in one day with this technique.
 
I too bought a domain. found out it had been banned by G.
paid 50 for it too!!!!
i asked G twice to add it that i was NOT the og owner.
they dont care.
why would they NOT add a domain if the bad guy is gone.
this is one of the worst and scary things when it comes to G
