Not in top 1k SERPS noob needs help

I started a new MNS at the end of February. So far it has one 500+ word article on the main page and an about us page. I do intend to add more content in the near future. I spun 5 articles from the main article on my site. Then I made 5 web 2.0 blog posts a couple of days later with the spun articles, each post had one link to my site. A little over a week ago I used a Fiverr gig to Scrapebox blast 5k backlinks to the web 2.0's.

The site is an EMD --keyword(s) dot net-- and the longtail keyword has about 12k exact searches per month and is low competition. So far my site has not cracked the top 1000 SERPS even though it has been indexed by G and was launched on February 29th. Am I being impatient or am I messing up something?

This is my first MNS and I appreciate any feedback you guys could give me.

one page website is not preferred but still you could rank it. How would you compare your backlinks profile to the top 3 competitors?

Add more content. If you are not good at writing article just translate from other language in english and you will adapt easily. The first important thing is to have content.

You need more backlinks dude. 5 web 2.0s is not going to bring you anywhere. Scale it up to 50 web 2.0s and you will see some results to motivate you.

Mate,aren't you aware of the latest google updates?

Get at last 10-15 articles on your website,and then start backlinking.

So it looks like I need to add a lot more web 2.0's and content before I can crack the top 1000 SERPS. I guess I was thinking it would be easier to show up in the top 1000. Not that I think this is easy! Back to work I go.

Try to add some content and also make some blog comments. This should help.

OK I now have 3 pages of content and over 50 web 2.0's set up. I did another Fiverr gig that set up 20 web 2.0's and did a 5K Scrapebox blast to the web 2.0's. So of my 50 or so web 2.0's half of them have been blasted.

I still am not listed in the top 1,000 SERPS. I use "seoserp" to check. What am I doing wrong. I launched the site on February 29th and still nothing!

Check to see if google black listed your site for some reason. PM me your site and I will take a look and see whats going on.

You definitely need to add more content to this site.. There are not to many 500 word home pages that are getting ranked online these days. Just keep building it and linking, then over time you will see your self moving into the top 1000
