NOt Guilty! BS!

Well its extremely hard to convict someone for the death penalty. The jurors realize that for the rest of their lives, they would have to live with the fact that they sent someone to death. So the prosecutors needed to prove without any reasonable doubt, and the defense did a good job planting a seed of doubt. The prosecutors didn't have a strong case for motive and any evidence they had, was contested enough to place doubt.

I followed the case as much as I could, and to be honest there was 200 hours of testimony and unless you were at the trial, the jurors definitely knew something we didn't. It was clear CNN wanted to convict her, and Nancy Grace decided she was guilty before she was even arrested. Tne one thing I am certain of, is I hate Nancy Grace.

I don't know if she is actually guilty, but that family has some serious issues.

She was found not guilty by a jury of her peers. Why is that BS? Were you in the courtroom? Did you hear all of the evidence? Didn't think so.

You have no right to pass judgement unless you were there.

You're right, she just hid the body for a month and lied to the police because it was an accident.

That's what a reasonable person would do, right?

Doesn't matter, she was found not guilty by a jury of her peers in accordance with US law.

To me this is one of the biggest problems with society and humans in general. People pass judgement without knowing all the facts. People hear a small sliver of what happened, and make judgement. It's innocent until proven guilty, and she was not proven guilty.

You're right, we don't know all the facts. But I still feel that I know enough to be able to pass judgement.

Why do I feel that way? Because what I do know is after her daughter went missing, did she call the cops? No. Do she go looking for her daughter? No. She went partying. Her actions tell me that she knew where her daughter was the entire time. Which tells me she's guilty. I don't need to know the rest of the facts, that proves it to me beyond a reasonable doubt.

Main problem in our society is people like you :D

Please, elaborate on how people like me are the biggest problem in society. If you feel the need to personally attack me on the interwebz, by all means, let's hear it.

in the US, you are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. in this case, the prosecution failed to prove the case. prosecution couldn't establish cause of death. prosecution couldn't establish motivation for murder. there wasn't even DNA evidence to help their case. in the end, the prosecution couldn't prove their case which is why she was found not guilty.

they should not have tried a death penalty case with so much circumstantial evidence.

So who murdered the girl then

This is what I'm talking about. Who says she was murdered? How do you know? Did the autopsy prove that she was murdered?

?A man only becomes wise when he begins to calculate the approximate depth of his ignorance.?

I agree totally. Everyone seems to think since they"THINK" she is guilty that's what the verdict should be.

If anyone watched the trail, please tell me one piece of evidence they had on her linking her to MURDER or Child Abuse? That's right there wasn't any.

Being a father who loves his children more than anything, I have to say under the circumstances, that's a pretty douchebag thing to say.

what? i said an innocent woman is hot. that is the truth. that statement has nothing to do with the tragedy that befell the little girl. hopefully the guilty party will pay for that crime someday.

So who murdered the girl then

defense suggested that the girl was killed accidentally in the family pool and that the father was the one that buried/disposed of the body. i live in arizona...and child drownings are a sad and common thing here.....so it is plausible that she died accidently...who knows.

since the prosecution couldn't come up with a cause of death, caylee's death could have been an accident. nobody knows how she died. it was sensational 24 hour news coverage and people like Nancy DisGrace that called anthony a murder b4 she was tried and convicted.

i'm not defending what happened here.....i just didn't allow myself to get sucked into the mob mentality the sensational news media tried to create. i knew anthony would be found not guilty when the cased ended because based on the evidence given compared with the charges presented, the prosecution failed.

if casey did murder her daughter, then the prosecution failed to proved it....which is why she was found not guilty.

This is flawed :)
Would you like to be sentenced for drug trafficking because you were acting nervous, sweating and had abdominal pain at some airport? I mean why care about actual evidence when behavior is so much more revealing.

If anything, and if she did it, her actions show that she is not mentally healthy (partying & stuff). Which brings the question, why was she charged with murder. An insane person can't legally murder, only kill. You can't argue that a reasonable person won't do such a thing but then ask for punishment that reasonable persons get. Maybe the prosecutors should explain their real motives or at least their conduct in previous cases investigated.

A bad verdict- possibly. A reflection or embodiment of the American judicial system? Hardly.

I don't question that you feel that way, but you (and I) should ask yourself why the jury didn't feel the same? They know a lot more about this case than the rest of us, including all of the media's talking heads who had condemned Casey Anthony to die years ago when this news story initially broke...

I'm not trying to defend Casey, the justice system isn't perfect (but it is the best in the world IMO). I would be very curious to hear from the jurors as to why they rendered the verdicts they did...

Basically, everybody except The Jury knows she's guilty

Guilty as Fock!

Well, partying after your child is missing is way different than having stomach problems after being accused of drug trafficking :p

IMO, she doesn't look mentally unstable to me. I don't know how people would think that way after she partied like a rock star days after her child went missing.

Then again, I don't know all the facts but judging from what I said above, it's just unacceptable for her to do that. Seriously, I'm still pissed at her.

To the people who think there wasn't enough evidence...especially the ones who have kids here on BHW (For Example)...if your 2 YEAR OLD CHILD was missing for 31 Days, you're telling me that you'd be too busy making money with facebook fan pages then being out all night with AUTHORITIES looking for your 2 YEAR OLD CHILD.

Give me a break! What more evidence do one need, forget law! The American law has failed us then they wonder why people take the law into their own hands.
