Hello All,
I am doing some CB Marketing, and basically this is what I have.

1) Made a review website, advertising 3 products.

2) I am linking to the products with 3 different domain names, with forwarding option. So, when the visitor visits any of the domains, the URL doesn't change in his browser.

3) I am submitted an article in squidoo, made video articles and submitted them in youtube. And just recently published an article in ezinearticles.

It's been about 1 and half week, but still no sales :(.

FYI, the products have 100+ gravity, and the sales pages are also very good.

What am I doing wrong here?

imo, clickbank products come off as too scammy. sell something real from commission junction.

@rayray I am getting about 100+ unique visits a day.

For w.e. reason there has been only 7 unique visits in my squidoo lens.

FYI, I also submitted the articles to social bookmarks, and used the ping tool to ping my blog and the actual bookmark url as well.

How long does it usually take and how many targeted visitors should I aim for?

I didn't make any money with CJ, while with clickbank still make some cash.

Sounds like you're not getting enough traffic, and the traffic you're getting is probably not targeted enough.

1) If you new to IM, start with a product with gravity not more than 100.
2) 10-12 days are too early to get a sale if ur new.
3) Publish more articles at ezine
4) Get working at Yahoo answers
5) May be ur videos are not catchy, try another one, different one.
6) Are you keywords very competitive? if yes, find new ones :P

The power of selling is depending on how good are you in convincing. If you cant convince anyone to buy those stuff, you ain't going to go anywhere.

To close any sales, you just need 2 things:
1) Do a convincing review
2) Target a right market

That's all.

Let me know if you need me to explain further.

You should probably get at least 1 sale from 1000 hops, if not either your review page is weak or the traffic quality is poor.

If you still see poor conversions, switch to building a list and then promoting your CB affiliate links after they opt-in ... through an autoresponder course or something. Conversions are usually much higher when you sell through emails.

write alot more articles, use yahoo answers and also try a different product. maybethe product just doesn't convert well. But you should be looking at a sale for every couple hundred sales. give it a month promoting that product, and if still no sales then move onto something else

A good CB product will sell, with targeted traffic, at about 2-3%. These are my personal #'s and they don't change much. The problem your having is you haven't done nearly enough. The first thing I'd do is some good keyword research and submit about 25-30 more articles to Ezine. Right now as things stand you can't say it's the products fault. Your traffic is no good and you don't have enough of it. Check out the following thread...and take notes :D
