Not getting paid for CPA leads??

I am an affiliate for maxbounty and what I did may be unethical and against Terms of service, but by any means by me doing this is not for me to gain money, I did it to gain knowledge.

I told a friend to click an ad and fill out a survey. Now I have 2 actions with 10 clicks, the one friend successfully made me a 3 dollar lead OK. I wanted to see the process of the ad so I went to another friends house clicked the ad myself filled out everything it required and then some. I didn't get paid?

I talked to a friend on xbl asked him to fill out a survey to see if it will work, because if it doesn't work whats the point of me promoting my site and getting 1000 in traffic and no money? He said he filled out everything even to the point where they called him to confirm!

I have tested with one page submits, two page submits, email.. These are obviously false requirements. I fill out 20 pages on a one page and don't get paid!

Can anyone explain to me how this works so I can stop clicking my ads and figure this out, and know which ad campaigns to pick and which ones to stay away from?

I'm sorry if you feel what I'm doing is wrong but I want to make sure when people fill out the ads correctly I get paid and not bamboozled.

email submits? they always scrub because think about it... someone can just hammer them with 20,000 shitty leads that they would have to pay for. the epc you earn will stable itself out after you've been sending traffic over time (few days)

Can anyone explain to me how this works so I can stop clicking my ads and figure this out, and know which ad campaigns to pick and which ones to stay away from?

Don't fill out the stuff yourself as a measure of how good an offer is

True about the email submits, but the ads I have are one page submits. I know for a fact its not one page they have to submit.

I've been with Maxbounty for a couple of months and I suspect a high percentage of my leads are scrubbed. Since it's difficult to prove, it's too easy for them to screw us. I had an easier time getting conversions with Neverblue but they banned me just before my first payment. At least MB has already paid me, so I just take what I can get.

I was brand new to CPA and never read the TOS, so I assumed that I could generate traffic however and it wouldn't matter. Getting banned was totally my fault but the upside is I learned from the experience. I can laugh about it now, although I'm definitely still a newbie and have lots to learn.

I was spamming CL with direct shortened links to merchant landing pages or my own pages with the advertiser's landing page iframed. Total ignorance on my part and Neverblue was correct to ban me. Live and learn.

Change network and stop sending shitty traffic (like friends filling surveys for you)... In this game you cannot ask yourself if it's working. It's working. I don't know if there is any network who doesn't scrub. But some do it big some small.

Stick to rules of cpa networks and you will be good. It's not that hard to play fair game. It can be even more scalable...

Ok I get what you're saying, so how do they know whats scrub traffic, my site is indexed on google so they were going through search engine. How do they know whats what? This is a NOOB QUESTION lol but I know they see the ip address but thats all I know, if its new whats the problem? '

How do they monitor the traffic? Are there bots who read numbers and filter the information or what?

I think in the case of Maxbounty, it's the advertisers and not so much the CPA doing the scrubbing. A week ago I first promoted a campaign that was paying $10 a lead and I made some good $$ quickly. Day by day it tapered off so I switched to a comparable campaign that paid the same and it picked up again. Then it tapered off so today I switched to another new one that pays $8 a lead and I got a commission quickly. Not sure exactly why but switching up comparable campaigns is working to some degree. If MB is scrubbing then why would they care which campaign they screw me on?

They all shave like crazy.. I have said this before and I will say it again when I was an advertiser with a cpa company my AM encouraged me to shave until I was happy with my ROI!

If you want to know how it works set up an offer and take it to a CPA company. You will see they are VERY accommodating to their advertisers.

A CPA company can look you square in the eye and say "WE DO NOT SHAVE YOU" and they wouldn't be lying. What they do is encourage their advertisers to shave this happens in all CPA companies including "MAXBOUNTY"

Hey GordonGekko9,

You should try testing a small percent of your traffic with the site instead of having your friends try it out. Most advertisers will only pay for good leads and they will know if there is fraud taking place. As long as the users fill out the offers with legitimate information you should get paid!

OK sounds like I need to get organic traffic. But I was wondering how do they know what kind of traffic you get, I know it's a numbers game, with ip addresses but can someone explain in detail?

Yesterday I discovered that Maxbounty subtracted 3 of my high paying leads from Feb 28th. I sent two emails to my AM and I'm waiting for a reply. This means they're scrubbing on the front, as well as back end. I'm sure she'll say the leads didn't convert so the advertiser took the money back. I'm not promoting that, or possibly any maxbounty campaigns in the future. Any of these CPA companies have business ethics? Who gets screwed worse, affiliates or the idiots who think they're getting a free laptop?

1. set up a quick squeeze page in a niche that you're promoting.
2. drive paid traffic to the squeeze page with free offer, maybe some plr report or something
3. redirect on signup to cpa landing page
4. send follow up emails to your list promoting cpa offers

I know but I was so curious to find out what a one page lead required if it was worth promoting, or would it take ten years for the visitor to fill out, I needed to see for myself.
