not clickable links still can be indexed?

i happened to find some people just paste their url in bulk in the comment section without contextual links.

It’s not clickable, just pure text like www. mysite .com (not clickable!)

can it be still indexing???

i don’t think people who doing are not dumb, so i guess there’s reason why they do it.

Some SEO tools automatically post comments to scraped sites. Some of these comments don't become clickable links due to multiple reasons. There is no strategy behind spam.

so it’s not indexable?
 
I know Google knows its link, but even if it is clickable, it is difficult to index; I believe it is even more difficult to index if it is not clickable.

Without talking about difficulty,
i didn’t know that non clickable links are possible to get indexed.

They get indexed as text but not as links. So, if you search for the links, the comment may show up in SERPs, but it won't pass any link juice for SEO purpose. It's even better if you simply use your brand name in a contextual comment.

i checked the links on the comment, most of them got indexed.
so they do this for index the url purpose? instead of link juice.

URL won't get indexed due to these comments. I posted clickable links in the past for some parasites. The links got indexed but the parasites didn't. So, I don't think if the URL gets indexed due to the text. Moreover, Google won't burn resources to crawl URLs posted as text.

then i really don’t know why they do it..
Maybe they ran automated program and thought it was clickable to get indexed?
 
It might be, I also see links that do have not a click option. but still, they have gotten indexed in the SERPs. Google algorithm is a mystery. We can't say only one way can work for specific traffic or ranking purpose.

What is the reason people post these links?
